Construction underway in Uptown on a new 17-story office tower.

The project at 2626 McKinney Avenue, which is being developed by Austin-based Stonelake Capital Partners, broke ground earlier this month following the closing of a construction loan from Bank OZK. plans call for approximately 174,000 square feet of offices and 7,000 square feet ore tail space.

Project amenities are to be located on the building's 11th floor, and will include an indoor-outdoor lounge, a coffee bar, and a fitness center.

The Beck Group is designing the contemporary glass-and-steel high-rise.

Construction of the project is being led by general contractor Brasfield & Gorrie, and is set to be completed in approximately 19 months.

Tenant move-ins are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2028.
