The master developer of the 160-acre Lakeside Village development in Flower Mound is moving forward with a key component of its expansion: an entertainment district featuring an underground parking garage.
Realty Capital Management LLC, the developer behind Lakeside Village, has shared an update on the project with the Dallas Business Journal. Plans call for a luxury hotel, office space along Lake Grapevine, and a vibrant entertainment district.
A $16 million underground garage, with space for 375 cars, is slated for completion in April. This garage is part of a larger $60 million infrastructure phase dedicated to the seven-acre South Sunset entertainment district, which is expected to open in 2027. The district will feature a public plaza surrounded by restaurants, a wedding chapel, and walking trails.
Lakeside Village Partners, the landholding entity controlled by the Stewart family of Dallas, along with development partner Realty Capital Management, are collaborating with California-based Swinerton Builders on the project.
Another phase of the Lakeside development, a 16-story luxury apartment building with 207 units called Thirty-One Eleven Sunset, is set to open in March. In addition, a 12-story, 181-room luxury Marriott hotel, Hotel Miramar, featuring a rooftop pool, spa, and private yacht, is in the works. The developer is also planning a six-story office building named 3301 Sunset, both of which are expected to open in 2027.
Lakeside features over 40 stores and restaurants, along with 1,297 multifamily units, 61 condos, and 165,000 square feet of office space.
