JPI has commenced work on Jefferson Grandscape II, a new housing complex in The Colony.
Located at 5500 Nebraska Furniture Mart Drive, the five-story, $77.8-million project is being financed in partnership with Nebraska Furniture Mart and lender Quadreal.
“After the success of our first phase, we’re thrilled to return to Grandscape, where great restaurants, shops, and entertainment come together to create a lifestyle people actually want,” said JPI chief financial and investment officer Mollie Fadule in a statement. “This project marks our 124th development in DFW, raising our total number of regional housing units to 44,714.”
The project, which is to include a mix of 277 studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, will be a first for JPI, by connecting to an existing parking garage. The modern masonry-clad building is to include amenities such as an outdoor deck, courtyards, and a pool.
Lord Aeck Sargent is designing the contemporary wrap-style apartment complex.
Completion is anticipated in January 2028.
