A consortium led by BDT & MSD Partners and Trammell Crow Company has unveiled renderings for a new high-rise within the Knox Street development.
The project team, which also includes The Summers Group, Gillon Property Group, and The Retail Connection, a 27-story tower dubbed "The Lora," which will rise at 3330 Armstrong Avenue along the historic Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad line. Plans call for 186 apartments in a mix of one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom floor plans ranging from 800 to 3,500 square feet in size.
“For The Lora, our vision was to express the character of Knox Street in a contemporary way, with warm and layered sophistication,” said Joel Behrens of Trammell Crow Company in Dallas-Fort Worth. “It was important that we remain true to the place, while also delivering exceptional quality, craftsmanship, and lifestyle that today’s discerning residents appreciate most.”
Woods Bagot and Chad Dorsey Design are serving as architect and interior designer, respectively. Plans call for an exterior of terra cotta-toned precast concrete with bronze detailing.
The larger Knox Street development will include 150,000 square feet of office space, 100,000 square feet of retail, a half-acre park, as well as a new hotel with branded condominiums that is set to debut in late 2026.
