In October 2023, Trademark Property Company, a Fort Worth-based company specializing in the development and operation of mixed use properties, announced they would assume the duties of leasing and operating the Left Bank retail center in Fort Worth. The 114,000 SF asset will be their seventh property in the DFW area, bringing their total SF in The Metroplex to over 3.5mm. Located in Fort Worth's West 7th Street Urban Village, at the intersection of the Central Business District and Cultural Arts District, the asset is also home to over 900 residential units.
Residents and visitors alike will be spoiled for choice when it comes to eating out -- options ranging from burgers to a dedicated cookie shop ensure this. Additionally, the development will feature fitness studios Body Machine Fitness and Club Pilates, a complement to the direct access to the Trinity Hike and Bike Trails. The exercise options should ideally balance out the cookies. As a proverbial cherry on top, the development enjoys views of the Trinity River.
Perhaps most notable is the development's anchor tenant, Tom Thumb. As the area's first full-service urban grocer, other tenants should enjoy knowing there will be constant traffic around their storefronts. A grocery anchor is a key piece of a successful retail center. For investors and tenants, having area's only full-service grocery store is extremely beneficial, to say the least.
Trademark plans to bring their trademark mixed-use expertise (pun oh so painfully intended) in both asset management and property management to maximize the value of the tenant mix. Nancy San Pedro, Senior VP of Asset Management at Trademark, spoke to the opportunity Left Bank presents:
With its ideal location, access to natural amenities and effective mix of uses, Left Bank is an excellent addition to our portfolio in Fort Worth. We are proud to deepen our roots in our hometown, and we look forward to elevating the outstanding foundation that already exists at Left Bank.
Other Trademark assets in the area include Galleria Dallas, Lincoln Square, WestBend, Waterside, 5000 S Hulen, and Alliance Town Center.
