Trammell Crow Company subsidiary High Street Residential has announced the start of a new multifamily residential development in Richardson.
The project, a joint venture with Tokyu Land Corporation, will rise from a three-acre site at 110 E. Polk Street, replacing two existing buildings and a parking lot. Plans call for a new four-story building complex including 281 studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 590 to 1,340 square feet in size. Plans also call for a amenities such as a fitness center, a swimming pool, and co-working space.
“We see this project as a catalyst for the future of Downtown Richardson. It will build on the existing momentum, bringing new energy and investment to the heart of the city,” said Kevin Hickman, a principal with HSR in Dallas in a news release. “We’re proud to partner with the city and the community in this next chapter of Downtown Richardson’s evolution.”
The project is supported by tax increment financing provided by the City of Richardson which will go toward public infrastructure associated with the project.
WDG Architects is designing the development, with Andres Construction serving as general contractor. Other members of the project team include Urban Structure, V3 Consulting Engineers, Spiars Engineering, landscape architect TGB Partners, and Ellie Aiello Interiors.
Completion is expected in late 2027.
Trammell Crow Company and High Street Residential recently commenced work on another Dallas-area project next to SMU/Mockingbird Station.
